Professional Identity And Role Perceptions Of Israeli Pre-Service Teachers In Special Education

This study aims to examine the differences and similarities between Arab Jewish pre-service teachers in Israel, terms of their professional identity, perceptions role a Special Education (SE) teacher self-efficacy teaching. The sample comprised 205 students from college for education 141 64 students. All participants B.A. Education. research instruments were Teacher Professional Identity Scale; Teacher’s Self Efficacy identity Scale SE teachers. results indicated that (PSTs) differ significantly teaching according year study. In addition, positive correlations found teachers’ regarding self-identity special education. Findings are discussed perspective applicability concept developing training programs PSTs with different cultural backgrounds living same country.
